Jiangsu Dongtai Fengfeng Tungsten & Molybdenum Material Co., LTD is a middle-sized enterprise honored with Jiangsu New High-Tec Enterprise , Jiangsu Advanced Group, Yangcheng Five-Star Enterprise. It is located in Dongtai North Suburbs where the key National Highway 204 running by. It occupied the area of 70,000 m2 with the total capital 109,410,000 yuan and the net capital 52,040,000 yuan. The number of its workers amounts to 306, of whom are 78 professionals in engineering technique, management and economics at high, intermediate, and entry levels. In January, 2001 approved by Dongtai City Government the collective stocks were purchased by managing and working members., changing it to the private-capital joint-stock company.
Jiangsu Fengfeng Tungsten & Molybdenum Material Co.,LTD is a specialized fixed-point unit in the electrical and light power field of the original light industry. After so many years' accumulation and development the enterprise has expanded rapidly. Now it owns five production lines for tungsten and molybdenum materials, of the capacity to produce 4000 tons of molybdate, 500 tons of molybdenum bars, 1200 tons of molybdenum ingots and 200 tons of tungsten products per year. It mainly produces more than ten kinds of products, including ammonium dimolybdate, industrial ammonium molybdate, ammonium heptamolybdate, sodium molybdate, barium molybdate, molybdic trioxide, molybdenum and tungsten powder, molybdenum and tungsten bars, molybdenum ingots, molybdenum plate blanks. The products are all made by the national standard and sold well and popularly in over ten provinces and cities at home ,as far as in Japan, the USA, England, Germany, and Hongkong etc., of which molybdenum ingots are exported to the USA, Germany and other countries in the own right of the company, and ammonium heptamolybdate are bought exclusively by Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology and Shanghai Jingshan Petrochemical Company. Fengfeng molybdenum bars are honored with Jiangsu Famous-Brand Product and Most Popular Product for four years on end, with the market share as high as 60%. Since 1997 for six years the enterprise has enjoyed the honor as the provincial "Contract-Stressing, Promise Keeping " unit. In 2002 it was assessed as the national "Contract-Stressing, Promise Keeping " unit. And for eight years continuously it has been appraised as Yancheng City "AAA" level credit enterprise.
In 2002 the total sale sum reached 200 million yuan, the tax turnover 36 millon yuan.
